Create View Rep

This Add-in makes it quick and easy to Create Quick View Representations of Single or Multiple Parts in Assemblies.
You can select items on the screen first then click then icon on the toolbar to run the command.
or
You can select the icon on the toolbar to run the command then select Single or Multiple items on the screen.
Once you are finished selecting right click and select done.
You can also right click and change your selection priority from Assembly Leaf Occurrence Filter to Assembly Occurrence Filter.
Once the Create Quick View Representation command has completed creating your new View Representation you will be returned to the View Representation you were in prior to running the command.
***** Special Notes:
1. Once a View Rep is created. If you right click in the Display window with nothing selected you will be given an option to activate the View Rep that you just created.

2. When you are in your newly activated (from the step above) view rep. If no items are selected and you right click in the Display window you will be given an option to return to the Previous View Rep.

3. You can also create a view rep by selecting the parts in the browser or the display window first. Then right clicking in the Display window and selecting create view rep from the pop up menu.

KWiKBatchRun

Allows you to select multiple Inventor Files, and select a Inventor Macro to run on them. It opens each Inventor file, and runs the Macro, then saves and Closes the file.
Please note, that it adds a menu item to the Tools Pulldown in Inventor only if no file is Open. It is meant to be run with no open files.

KWiKFile

Set up your Template how you want it with Rev Block settings and sketched symbols, then use KWiKFile to start a new drawing. It start by having you pick the template, then it immediately brings up the SaveAs dialog. Once saved it closes the Template file and opens the saved file complete with the settings you had made

KWiKPrints will allow you to setup as many as 4 separate tool buttons for one click printing. No more going through the Print dialog every time and settings the same thing over and over.

KWiKSert

Updated to Rev 1.1.0 12/01/06 Fixed a problem where KWiKSert would error out if a new part was made in a assembly, not saved and KWiKSert was used on it.

Drastically speeds up the process of adding fasteners in Autodesk Inventor or anything that gets constrained with a Insert. Select the bolt head, select a hole, and it inserts the bolt. Now you can continue by selecting holes one at a time and it will insert the bolt and constrain it as you go, or you can select a face with multiple holes and KWiKsert will only populate the holes of the same size and style.

KWiKInsertNFix is for use with Autodesk Inventor files created using the Master Sketch method. It allows you to select multiple parts, and then it inserts them into the assembly relative to the Origin planes, and grounds them.

Rev 2.0.1 fixed problem when Project file had two pointers to the same path. This would cause a error when opening the Folder Browse dialog.

Rev 2.2.1 added Options checkboxes to AutoClose on completion, and open file dialog in last used folder, or workspace. Fixed swapped columns "Adaptive", and "Reference"

Rev 2.2.3 Made it so the Inserted parts get inserted in the Active assembly instead of the top Assembly

Rev 2.2.5 Rev2.2.3 removed ability to insert parts in top level assembly. This rev fixes that issue.

Rev 2.3.0 Rev2.3.0 Fixed issue of Stop Select staying in Context menu after running KWiKInsertNFix. Also removed Web connection. This was a way I could see how much a tool was being used, but I never check the numbers so their is no need for it any longer.

KWiKViews is generally set to run Automatic every time Autodesk Inventor is started. You can drag it to where ever you want on your screen, and it gives you all the standard viewing tools, along with quick standard viewing directions. Top Right ISO, Bottom Left Iso, Left, Back, etc.

(Fast, easy and usually what a wire burner wants)
a) Select a face, any face including a flat patterns face, RMB and select Save Copy as
What you get is an AutoCAD file with no bend lines. Lines are joined into a polyline. Lower left geom is the origin

b) Select a sketch, (you could start a sketch and delete the lines you don't want), RMB and select Save Copy as
What you get is an AutoCAD file with all the lines in the sketch, sketch origin is the WCS
